Accelerated Organics is an environmentally and socially conscious business building a leadership role in applying restoration ecology methods to improve soil microbial communities. Our mission is to honor sustainable landscaping and agriculture practices that support healthy soil and water ecosystems.
Microbial Soil Restoration
Our seasonal program starts with a top dressing of compost and Bio-char in the early spring. Then our signature compost tea is professionally applied once a month from May to September. Aerated compost tea is a concentrated liquid containing billions of living microorganisms. It used to restore a diverse population of critical beneficial bacteria, fungi, and protozoa in the soil. Once applied, the microbes instantly go work breaking down organic matter in the compost layer, mobilizing the nutrients. As the microbes are consumed through the soil food web, the nutrients get released into the soil and become instantly available for plant uptake.
Enhances soil by holding water and nutrients. One sugar cube sized piece of Bio-Char has the same square footage as a basketball court. These layers of carbon act as a sponge and are critical to restoring microbial diversity and building a healthy soil structure in residential landscaping, lawns, golf courses, municipal landscaping, parks, sports fields, organic gardens and farms. Biochar is sourced from agricultural waste, making it a sustainable product.
Prepare for the future
The current standard levels of pesticide, fertilizer and water use rates must be reduced. Our techniques are critical in rebuilding microbial diversity and maintaining healthy soil structure, stimulating root growth, reducing transplant shock and increasing yields. Accelerated Organics is building a healthier environment for people and animals while improving plant vitality and yield. The development of sustainable alternatives to traditional pesticides and toxic chemical fertilizers is vital to our future. The Microbial ecosystems that sustain the soil, flora and fauna are fundamental in the cycle of life.
